KAC PTA membership votes YES to support Kent School District EP&O Levy

KAC PTA membership votes YES to support Kent School District EP&O Levy

The Kent Area Council PTSA membership on Monday, Jan. 27th, 2020 voted to endorse the Kent School District EP&O Levy. This is a 2 year replacement levy that will benefit all students and help create a safe environment, support educational programs and help protect staffing levels, especially in areas that are not fully State funded, such as school nurses, health rooms and security officers.

The Kent community has been a strong supporter of our public schools, passing levies since 1984. Washington State PTA is the oldest and the largest nonprofit grassroots children’s advocacy association in the state. Our mission is to improve the quality of children’s health, welfare, safety, and education.

Our membership has indicated that this levy will do just that.

Please remember to vote YES by February 11th!
